Default need help to rebuild or big block

Hi guys im trying to decide if i want to rebuild my yamaha g2 engine or do a big block conversion. what to do what to do. ok so i can rebuild the one i have for around 500. budget build. but i want more power not really looking for speed just power. on a budget how much do you guys have in your conversions. thinking i like a 20 hp engine and believe it would fit with the 6 inch lift already on it. whats a good motor to use. does anyone have a diesel buggie thinking of going that route also please help thanks
