Non EZGO ignition coil?
Can I use a automotive twin tower coil without toasting the ignitor?
The auto coil has about half the resistance (~1ohm) of an OEM coil (1.87 ohm min. coil spec) |

All I know is 295 Robin.
The GM coil pack (for free) is looking mighty inviting. Also it's pretty much guaranteed in stock everywhere. Mine's wired up for key start, so when it gets left on not running... bye bye coil. |

I havent heard of anyone doin this on a four stroke. I know it has been done on the two stroke but not the four stroke. You might keep bumpin it til' one of the other more experienced tech's see's this and adds on.. I'm leanin toward it won't, b/c I've never heard a peep about it, and i can't find anything on a search.. Good Luck..
