Default Brake adjustment on 2007 ez go

I have a 2007 ez go and the pedel goes down to the floor when I go to brake. Is there an adjustment under there because I looked and it looks like ther is and adjustment that you need 2 wrenches to adjust it? I looked at the pads and they have hardley any wear. So is that where I adjust? I adjusted the shoes out by turning star wheel that in hub.

mm27, the adjustment is in the rear on the hubs, take your rear wheels off and inside the hub is where you tighten them, look at the stickies page and download the manual it will show you.

If you have already adjusted the "star wheel" so called self adjuster to the point you can just get the hub back on over the shoes you now need a 5/8 and a 1/2" wrench to take the slack out ot the cables under the cart. Tighten the 5/8 nut down so you have about 1/4" of slack in the cable before the brakes start engaging then hold the 5/8" and tighten the 1/2 jam nut down to lock it. Happy stopping.

With self adjusting brakes why would you need to adjust the bakes manually? why not just take the slack out of the cables with the adjuster. The brake pads wear and usually you can take the slack out this way.
