Default Alltrax 500 Mounting Ideas and Pics

I have a 2007 ezgo pds and I am going to install a 500 amp alltrax controller and I have been told it will not fit under the factory cover does anybody have any pics of how they mounted theirs and how you mounted the solenoid as well and the tow/run switch. Any ideas or help is great!

I don't have pictures, but I mounted mine on the same heat sink as the stock controller & left the cover off-had to drill new bolt holes. I mounted the solenoid on top of the controller-someone will probably come along with some pictures of a setup like this shortly.

I mount them the same as factory, but just cut the bottom off the box. I leave the top half on for some kind of protection on the wires.

Husker, you have that fuse on the wrong wire.... didn't you read the instructions that came with that controller? The Fuse goes to the Negative terminal....... lmao.

Colby, if you look up my thread about a solenoid activated F&R, you will see the way I mount mine......

It can mount on either, look at the instructions from Allrax, this is in their color brochure that they send with every controller:

The fuse may be installed anywhere in the battery string or at either (+) or (-) end of the battery pack where it connects to the controller or solenoid.

Aussie

I never cut the cover until I have tested the cart and make sure it is running ok first, when I test drive I just hook up the toggles switch with the cover just sitting there kinda like hangin, drive it, then when I am happy with the settings I then disconnect the cart again remove the toggle with the cover and then off to the chop saw.

Where can I get one of the factory fuses that mount from the cable to the battery post? I just need a factory one right now mine is melted because my cable came loose the other day. Can I buy it at a local parts store?
