Charging connection
I need a little help. I looked on a couple of the sponsor's sites and I am sure I am just not searching it right but I need some help finding the battery charging connection on the cart side for my 36 volt 1994 ezgo marathon. Or i might not be seeing how it goes together. It is supposed to snap into place and hold it down. I have is the battery connection and the piece that looks like a bezel but I cant figure out how it goes together to hold it in place. Can any one tell me how this goes together or if I need a new one. If I need a new one what exactly do I need and where do I get it? Thanks a lot for any help.

Re: Charging connection
Yes you have a SB50. The only part you are missing is a screw..no offense intended. :-) A screw from the side of the bezel trim that goes on the cart will hold the connection on the cart in place in the bezel. the bezel should snap on to the body of the cart, some have screws but I think that marathon model snaps with some tabs. You can search for SB50 connections on part sites.

Re: Charging connection
Thank you for the help. No offense taken. My wife tells me all the time I have a screw loose so its OK to find out that I need a new one.

Re: Charging connection
if you are replacing those charger ends, now IMO would be a good time to upgrade. That charger ends are known to give issues. I have actuatly had them melt so bad the charger harness melted to the cart while charging.
I would upgrade to the 2 prong connection or the txt version. they have a better connection. But yes as stated the cart end is held in the bezel by a screw |

Re: Charging connection
Are the ends interchangeable to the different types of carts?

Re: Charging connection
so as long as the male and female ends match the rest of it doesn't mater (motor, controller or any of the other parts).
