Default Just bought 2002 Carryall...

Hello,
I just bought this 2002 Club Car Carryall, gas, for $975.00. 1500 original hours, maintained, lots of extras including seven new turf tires with rims; dump bed, Curtis Cab enclosure; Having a plow installed today.
Was this a good deal, and would anyone venture a value?
Thank you.
Mark

Cart prices are regional. In TN that ride would retail for tripple what you paid. That mean you got cabbage for the modifications on your mind! Have fun - and make sure you send this bunch photo's.

You bought a 272 with a cab for $975.00?!?!?!?!? That's worth at least four times that amount around here. Wow!

As far as a comparison goes....... we just sold a 2001 Carryall2 (Cheaper vehicle) with a Curtis Cab for $5500.00. Keep in mind that it was fully serviced and gone through with a fine tooth comb but still, wow!

Looks like a good deal to me.
Wish I could find a deal like that.

Gee, thanks for the replies. Guess it was a good deal. I got it at a closed bid auction. It's been well-serviced. And I'm spending my extra "cabbage" already. It's now having a 60-inch snow plow installed with a Warn winch. Also being tuned up. I'm putting chains on the tires. Hope it can handle a few inches of snow. The motor says it's a 352cc Kawasaki. But, we just had over 24 inches of snow in CT yesterday. Even the larger p/u trucks have trouble with that.

It was also harder than expected to find someone to service Club Cars. And parts are hard to find locally, as well, at least in CT. But, I finally found someone that knows what they're doing after calling a half dozen places, and scouring the internet. It took a couple of weeks. I guess Club Cars and the like may be more popular in the warmer climate areas. I don't know.

I wasn't thinking much about a Club Car for a home utility vehicle. I only thought of them as golf carts. I had no idea where was such a market for them, and all the things that can be done with them. Used to have a Wyllis Jeep to bang around with, but not anymore. I think the Carryall will be more useful around the home grounds. The wife can even drive it. I'd like to also get an electric bed lift for the dump body. Does anyone have any recommendations where I could find one online? I'll post some pics with the plow when I get it back.
Take care, all.
Mark

Hey Mark, welcome to the madness.

The electric dump is pretty easy. You need to find a 12 volt linear actuator that will match up to the OE closed length. (typically the mounts are already on the box and the frame) You only need a 6 to 8 inch throw on the actuator, then get the switch, (there is a Napa part number here; http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/ezgo-...-dump-bed.html) and the breaker. It will wire up just like the one in the link.

I'm sure that Club Car will sell you a kit, but in my case it was cost prohibitive.

Good luck, and my offer stands

Good deal. Thanks for the info. I figured there must be an easy workaround. I just saw an electric lift offered on the net for nearly 700 dollars. Seems a bit steep to me.
Where do I get the linear actuator, from an auto supply shop or ATV shop?
Thanks.
