New To Forum - G22 Problem
Hi, I am brand new to the forum and I look forward to contributing where I can! Right now i have just purchased my first golf cart, a lifted Yamaha G22 (2005). There are two issues I am hoping someone on the forum can help me with:
1) The cart is experiencing a low throttle bog then accelerating from a stop... there is a 'flat spot' where the motor just bogs down and occasionally backfires... if you push the throttle past the 'flat spot' it will pick up and run OK. Any insights on this one? 2) Is there any way to limit the steering lock on these carts? Right now, with the large tires that are on it, at full steering lock (either direction) the tires can come in contact with the body. Thank you in advance for any help or insights! |

Re: New To Forum - G22 Problem
Well I am new to the gas cart side myself ,but it sounds like a carb issue.Maybe you have some plugged passages in the carb.Perhaps it is restricted on the idle circuit.
I would say on your steering you might have to weld some nuts to the backside of the spindle so you could install different length bolt to make a positive stop.Just like they do on the knucles of solid axle 4x4 trucks |
