The 1/2 speed reverse is achieved thru a 5.1k resistor in the throttle wiring.On the outer microswitch of the fwd/rev there are 3 terminals the top has a green wire the middle black and the lower white. The black has the resistor. Try switching the middle and bottom wire. see sonics wiring diagram.

jim777, I just spoke with TahoeDawg and he stated that all you need to do is change the wire on the S1 post on the motor to the S2 post on the motor and vice versa.

now im getting full speed forward but the selector is in reverse and half speed reverse with the selector in forward

All that that did was reverse the motor. I think the problem was misunderstood. Wish I cud help furthe.r

Swap the wires back like you had them, and switch the middle and bottom wire on the Half speed micro switch. It's the one closest to the battery pack.

Sorry Scuba, didn't mean to misinform. Wasn't aware that he was running an EZGO motor. I'm assuming it's on an EZGO transaxle as well, which is completely opposite from our stuff as far as which direction the motor attaches from.

Not your fault... I forgot to tell you the whole story... my bad... but at least he did get full forward and half in reverse

Most importantly thanks for jumping in and helping Jim777... that was my real concern and you did just that
