How to operate forward/reverse
I am going to look at a gas Yamaha G1 today (will be my first gas cart if I get it). Where is the forward/reverse on this rig. I have checked out a lot of threads this morning, but none of the pics show how to switch from forward to neutral. I would at least know how to drive it when I get there.

the ignition key, to the right is forward......to the left is reverse.

Thanks kc.
Wow. So you have to turn it off and restart the engine backwards. 1 more thing (getting the cart for $400 non-running). The gal that owns it said it ran real good and then just wouldn't crank one day. Said her dad sprayed some lubricant (WD40?) in the carb and it ran like hell for 15 minutes and then the same thing again. Any idea where to start looking for a problem? |

I had the same problem. Mine would run but poorly, would pull me barely but not two people. I took the carb off and had it rebuilt....start there . BTW mine was a hundred.
