Default Battery brands

Are Trijans worth $20 per battery over the US XC's?

I will need new batteries by next golf season and have priced the Trojan and US brands. Trijans are $160 per and US's are $140 per. Will the US XC's be just as good?

Have you looked at Crown. That is what Club Car puts in their carts now as OEM. They get good reviews.

That is a significant difference! No brainer there. I am looking at an $80 difference. Still may be a no brainer though.

I just bit the bullet and ordered 4 Trojan T1275s for my precdent. I paid $860 for all four. My cart has Club Car OEM (2007) batteries and they are stamped Trojan. They lasted over 4 yesrs My theory is: If your cart only has 4 batts, spend the extra $$$ and buy the best you can. My mechanic just called, the batts are in.

Oh, I bought mine from my local auto mehcanic. They don't do carts, but he still got 'em for me. I'm all about supporting the local guys.

I have used the 12v US brand with great success through two golf carts. I have had Trojan's before and would take either of them as they have both served me well. I take good care of them and do proper maintenance through PM's and Charging. Based on all that, I would go with the best deal.
