Re: Disc brake install
Ok Thanks.
Maybe some wheel spacers might save the OP a bunch of money then? |

Re: Disc brake install
the way the rim is cut inside it quickly decreases in diameter. If the ad had stated works with "most" 10 inch rims I could see a problem, but the ads for these brakes clearly state works with 10 inch or larger rims. Working with Trademark to see if they will swap them out for me.
Got a reply to my e-mail from Ausco. The guy tried to tell me his ads said most 10 inch rims work but I disagree and can pull up 100's of locations that say 10 inch or larger rims WORK. No maybe's. Even on their site this is stated. We'll see what happens. As far as e-bay goes I've bought over 10,000 dollars worth of stuff since 2001 and had very few problems and usually get an awesome product for a good price. |

Re: Disc brake install
Straight up... I, personally would have returned the complete set-up in return for a Club Car kit!
Granted your rims may not have fit, (even on the Club Car kit) but I still would have returned the EZ-GO set, rather then "Jury rigging" it! my .02 |

I see what you mean about how the rims taper down quickly. Measured the offset required for them to fit the disc brakes and 1.5" is the smallest spacer for them to fit. I was going to add a 1" spacer to give the cart a broader stance so no biggie on this end. Thanks again |
