Default Spider & Side Gears

I have an 05 TXT and after finding a leak at the input shaft after it started making noise I tore down the differential assembly to see how bad, I found some bearings bad no big deal on those I can get them local but the spider & side gears are bad and I have not found replacements aftermarket, I do have a call in to the local EZ-GO dealer but have not got a return call yet, anybody know of a supply for the gears.

I haven't seen anything in aftermarket. There may be something but I've never seen them anyway. I also don't see the spider gears or side dears by themselves on EZGO's site. Looks like they may be serviced with the differential assy. only.

When you say that the gears are bad, are the teeth damaged? Sounds like you might be better off to try and find a complete used rear end. I believe that 1994 up will interchange. I just built a 1997 rear end and put it in my 2007 PDS cart.

terry is correct, but with caveat. the 94-98 carriers and spiders are different than the 99 and up. they are completely interchangeable tho.
in the pic, the carrier on the left is the newer one. you need this larger size to install a locker.

Yes my gears are damaged I just want to put I back stock as this is a work cart. I do have an older cart in salvage but I have ambitions of fixing that one up for deer camp. I called the local dealer again this morning and still have not got a return call with replacement information other than I would need to get a differential assembly (carrier with spider, sides and pin) for around $300.00.
