Ok My Buddies cart will only pull with front wheels Not back
the cart is a converted 2008 ezgo 48 volt 4 wheel drive- I have a picture, and the One solenoid, clicks, and the other does nothing- (Yes I know a wire is off)
I know I am gonna catch grief, but this man puts these carts through hell- He hunted with this cart last year in 12 states- if you got to Outdoor life web page and go to the hunting page and find chasing spring- you will see this buggyin teh chasing spring section- Missuri gobblers First How can I post a picture thanks I got the picture just forgot or never knew how to post |

Re: Ok My Buddies cart will only pull with front wheels Not back
The first thing I'd try is to clean up all that corrosion. The real troubleshooting starts if that doesn't work. If there's no click from the solenoid, you have a microswitch issue, right? (or the solenoid is just done) Might have gotten some water in the ITS box and shorted one out?
98kicker- It probably looks something like this one: |

Re: Ok My Buddies cart will only pull with front wheels Not back
Power the signal circuit manually and see if it clicks.
If it clicks, see if it's moving current with a multi-meter. It would probably be best if all wheels are off the ground on stands when doing this... I have no idea if there is a heavier duty solenoid available. The one he has could be the cheapest POS available or it could have been meticulously handcrafted by a Swiss watchmaker, I dunno? |
