Default Slight loss of power (hesitation)

As it was a nice sunny day here in Delaware yesterday, I took the dog for a ride on my 2005 CC Precedent (48V) and 4 times while driving there was a very slight loss of power. I believe I also heard a slight click each time. Thankfully we made it home as we were in the far corner of the development when it began. Anyone have any thoughts?

Mine has been doing the same thing..only at full throttle. It`s driving me nuts. My batteries are less than a year old , and the hesitation started a couple of months ago.

If you get it figured out please post and let us know.

i,m only taking a guess here but because they are so cheap i think i would put a new speed sensor in.....both of you...........i really hate guessing but because of what i have saw and have read theres a real good chance that is both your issues.....and again the part is cheap enough that it dosn,t hurt the wallet at all to pop one in and they are very easy to install........................

Full throttle, speed at 8mph = bad speed sensor

Controller defaults to 8mph when speed sensor not working (for safety). . . as Shadowman says, change the speed sensor as it is the least expensive thing to try first . . .

IF your speed sensor is bad, buying the Speedy Link will not fix your problem because I believe the Speedy Link needs input from the speed sensor that it magically changes, providing "different" input to controller.
