Adding Headlights
I have a 07 EZGO 36 Volt PDS Cart. I want to add headlights to my cart. I have already ordered a fuse block to mount in the dash. My question is the lights. The lights I like only have a single wire. I assume they ground on the frame when mounted. Can I use these lights? If so how do I hook them up?

Re: Adding Headlights
I recently added lights to my 08 TXT. I picked up a pair of automotive fog lights from WalMart for about $20. Like yours, these also had one wire (the ground) connected to the metal mounting bracket. What you need to do is remove that wire and terminal from the mounting bracket and splice and insulate a black wire to it (after removing the terminal). Now you will have two insulated wires coming from each light. Do not connect any battery wires to the frame of your golf cart, but just connect these two wires from the lights to any two adjacent batteries of your golf cart pack (resulting in 12 V.). I would suggest connecting the black wires from the lights to BL- of your battery pack and the other light wires (through a switch and a fuse) to the positive of the second battery up from the battery with BL+. Another (better) option would be to connect the lights to a 36 to 12 v. voltage converter (also through a switch and fuse). Hope this helps - RAY

Re: Adding Headlights
As long as you install them on non-conductive mounts, you should be fine. If you ground to the chassis, you'll blow the bulbs.
