Default New Project "84" 2 stroke

Well I just became the proud Grandpa of my 2nd grandbaby (1st Girl) and also got a new old 84 ezgo And Boy is it going to be a project. Oh the cart will be also I was talking about spoiling the Grand Daughter . I got this for the right price FREE just to get it out of site so the city would stop writing tickets for Junk in the back yard. Well so far I have found out the rear brake pads are gone and the S/G bracket has been broke and wired up to hold it in some sort of line. So if any one has one lying around I could use one. I did a compression test and it held good at 120 so I tried to fire her up and found the fuel lines all where shot. I changed them out and put new filter in and she fired up and runs like a top so far without the drive belt on.

One question I have does this year not start in neutral like the 96's do? Here's some pictures.

It looks like the Bat Mobile from the rear.
How about an expansion chamber sticking high out the back, a Makuni carb, ported and polished intake port, bored .030 over with a .010 mill on the head. Woops I'm talking about my dirt bike days again...

COME ON DOC where have you been NO they don't start in the neutral position. No neutral in these old dogs just foot down and forward or foot down and reverse.

I loved my old ezgo, no neautral start but an awesome cart. The best thing i ever did to it was take off the muffler and BBQed it for a couple of hours just to burn out all the unburned oil and junk, I swear I trippled the power because of this. Have fun with it.

The only thing that works on these old carts is SWEET BABY RAYS & NATURAL LIGHT BEER. You go CHEAP on the beer so you can afford KINGSFORD charcoal Oh and for your info DOC I have (2) goats that work fine. They mow the lawn and pull the cart when it's broke down
