Club Car 25 Electric will not move
It was working one minute and not the next. All connections are clean and tight. The solenoid clicks, I jumped across the terminals to make sure it was good and nothing happened. I have 50 volts at the solenoid, both sides, and at the motor on all 4 terminals that I though was funny. How do I find the bad part on this thing?

Re: Club Car 25 Electric will not move
I recently had the same symptom. It turned out the mcor was defective. There is a two wire plug that provides +48v through a switch in the mcor. I would advise you to disconnect the 2 pin connector and (with batteries disconnected, key off, in tow) jumper the connector pins together.
This is a simple quick test, and report back once you have tried it. |

Re: Club Car 25 Electric will not move
1998 48 volt
When I tested the solenoid with the load wire and resistor disconnected I had 14 volts measured on the terminal where I disconnected the load wire going to the controller and 50 volts when I closed the solenoid. I expected zero voltage on that terminal with the solenoid open. Do you think the solenoid is stuck closed? |

Re: Club Car 25 Electric will not move
don,t worry about an m-cor a 98 dosn,t have one.......you either have a V-glide or pot box..............have you load tested all batteries? keep in mind just because they show voltage dosn,t mean one or more isn,t failing under load so you need to load test batteries...it only takes one battery to fail to stop cart dead..............is your F&R a lever or a rockerswitch?......if you jumped the large post on solenoid and it did nothing solenoid isn,t the problem if you didn,t jump the large post do that but 1st make sure batteries hold under load..................................

Re: Club Car 25 Electric will not move
MCOR = Motor Controller Output Regulator...basically tells the cart what speed to go as the pedal is pressed...also has microswitch inside that can prevent cart from running...but your solenoid wouldnt click if that microswitch was bad...however mcor unit itself may still be the problem
