Brakes Tight on one Side
I just put a new hub on the passenger side of my TXT and now the brake pedal has a lot less travel before it applies the brakes. A tap of the brakes will make the cart skid, however you can hear its only on the passenger side that the brakes are applying themselves quicker. Basically the passenger side brake will apply braking force much quicker then the driver side and it makes my cart skid very easily. Anything I can do?
Thanks, Scott |

Re: Brakes Tight on one Side
Adjust the shoes. Your new drum is thicker so it's closer to the shoes... back the shoes off a little on 1 side and tighten them up a little on the other side until they even up.

Re: Brakes Tight on one Side
Download the Owners, Service, and Parts manuals from the stickies. They have a whole chapter on brake adjustment.
