Plum Quick Help
I recently purchased a 2009 Precendent from a dealer and had them upgrade my motor to a new Plum Quick Bandit motor(purple). Not quite sure on why, but I am only getting a max speed of 18mph. I have 23" tires so I was thinking I should be hitting 24-25mph. I called PQ and they said I need to find out what speed code I am set on. So I took it to a golf cart dealer and they said it was on code 2, so they changed it to 3 and checked the throttle to make sure it was at 100% open. After i got home I took it for a test run and nothing changed, still only hitting 18 mph!!!? Its to late to call PQ because its friday evening, and I was hoping to find something out this weekend. Any input would be helpful!!! Thanks

Re: Plum Quick Help
Ploar I have a stock cart except 6inch lift and 23 inch tires I'm hitting 18mph.
I was going to install code 4 on my stock controller untill I found controller with code 4 already programed in for just a few dollars more. I believe I should go over 20 plus mph with code 4. I have read about the motor you have and it seems to me that everyone is happy with the PQ motor but I would only think code 4 would help your speed |

Re: Plum Quick Help
What are your readings under load? Battery Brand? Year batteries? PQ cart not a PH cart? Are you getting hold back braking? Can you push and pull the cart without the brake pedal depressed? Tire pressure?

Re: Plum Quick Help
Its a pq cart, no brake drag, batteries are tojan power drive, not sure how to tell the year, the cart is an 09 so I would guess the batteries are also, tire pressure is good. I am going to go out in a little bit and do a load test on each battery and will post results
