Default 97 Ezgo upgrades.

I'm about to install 2ga wire set, HD solenoid, HD F&R switch and a 650 amp controller. I also replaced the gears to 8:1. My guess is that the next thing I'll need is a new set of batteries. I also believe I'll have motor issues from extreme heat.

Welcome to BGW!

A 97 could be a Series cart or a DCS cart.

Yes Sir,
It's a series cart. I've been looking at the 2 speed EMP motor. it seems like one of the best to use.

That would depend upon your intended use.

Well scottyb,

I would be using it around the property hauling small limbs, as I do now. I plan on making a small trailer too.
Also, I'll be taking it to the camp ground and hope to show off the power.

Well, the new Controller, Solenoid, F&R switch and 2ga wires made a big difference. Throttle respond and speed. Next on the list will be an upgrade on the motor and convert to a 48v.

LostHusker
It looks like you only have the motor, right? No switch.
So, how much do you want for it?
But also, why didn't you use it?
