Default 2002 TXT PDS diagnostic questions

Cart will go in reverse but not forward. It has the F/R switch on the front panel. I have obtained the repair and service manual, but I am stuck understanding the following. The solenoid is a 36V white rodgers, with two large posts (one of each side) and two small posts on the front.

1. Which is the "battery side" of solenoid?
2. Which is the Controller side of solenoid?
3. Which is the Controller B+?
4. Which is the Controller B-?

Solenoid has 2 large cables connected to it. One on each side. One side goes to the battery. One side goes to the Controller. Controller has 3 big posts. They are marked B+, B-, A1

On a stock PDS system, and on the schematic posted, the solenoid has two cables connected to the "Controller Side" large terminal.
One goes to the Controller's B+ terminal and the other goes to the Motor's A2 terminal.

The ring terminal lugs used on better grades of aftermarket high current cables are too thick for two of them to be stacked on the stock solenoid's stud, so this electrical junction point is physically moved to the B+ terminal on the controller.

----------
In the attached picture of a stock PDS controller:
The A1 terminal is at the top (Green shrink tubing)
The B- terminal is in the middle.
The B+ terminal is at the bottom.
