Default Fisrt cart, possibly 2011 RXV

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy my first golf cart. I was having a hard time deciding between a cc ds and ezgo txt until I stopped by a local dealer today. He has several 2011 RXV's that are straight off the golf course. They still have the factory 2011 12v trojans. Price is $2800. Are there any concerns that I should have about them? How much life should expect from the batteries? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Ive had quite a few Rxv's and in my opinion they are a good cart. in the beginning they had there issues but my experience with them has been positive. The batts should last a while if they have been taken care of. Have the dealer discharge test them and give you the results.

Dunno about RXVs, but if the batteries were properly maintained, they should have years of useful life ahead of them.

Question: Would the average dealer keep them on charger, or just park them in a lot? Also, would they have access to a load tester? If not, carry a DMM and see what the current pack voltage is. Search around here to see what a 100% charge should be. 36 or 48 volts is dead, contrary to many's beliefs.

I guess my point is even if the golf course did an excellent job maintaining the batteries, if it's been unmaintained by a dealer for three to six months, it could have caused irreversible battery damage. Not dissing dealers, just know that not everyone knows how to maintain batts.
