I would check the serial numbers of each cart to see exactly what model and drive system they are. There is a serial number decoder list above in the stickies...
I asked the seller for the serial number to determine if it's an IQ or a PH. The Trojan batteries are from 2010. It looks like it's in good shape. He is asking $2300. Is that fair?

this is the link for the controller up grade.

but me personally if i had to do it all over again i would have just keep the stock controller and just sent my motor to PLUM QUICK and had a Bandit motor up grade done for $225.00. And had the factory controller set to the 3rd speed setting.
it had good torque and would run all day on a charge.

I've been reading all night on this stuff. I agree this looks like a good place to start. I guess I should buy one before I start upgrading it.

Sounds pretty fair if the cart is in good shape. Maybe slightly steep since the batts are now 4 years old...

There are no upgraded/aftermarket Excel controllers. Your cart is no longer an Excel cart but an IQ cart. You can replace the wiring harness with an IQ harness and then any IQ controller will work.

My Cart is a 2008 + PQ not PH, was that a typo?

I plan on replacing the controller and motor later anyways, where can I get the IQ wiring harness?

PQ is not an Excel system but an IQ system . . . you already have an IQ harness . . .

Well now that I look up the serial number it looks like I have an IQ system rather than an Excel. It is called Precedent Professional Electric according to the charts posted. I'll have to look at the controller tonight and see what it looks like.
