motor
Don't know if this is the right spot for this but would a motor out of a Yamaha electric cart fit in a electric club car?

Re: motor
Based on the F-R switch, that is an IQ cart with regen braking. That means in addition to having the correct spline count, the motor MUST be a SepEx motor.

Re: motor
The only 10 spline Yamaha was a male shaft. Would only replace a very old CC. All newer Yamahas used the 19 splines

Re: motor
. . . what year/model of Yamaha cart are you wanting to swap from? . . . the Yamaha electric G2, G8 & G9 (1989-93-1/2) used a 10 spline female motor shaft, for example . . . but were 36v motors, I believe . . .

It would have to be a SepEx motor, correct?

Re: motor
Older yamahas with 10 spline axles were all series motors. All 36v yamaha were series, all 48v yamaha were sepex with 19 spline dana axles. Wont work, (but will ruin the sepex CC controller).
