Possibly time to upgrade forward/reverse switch?
I recently upgraded my 94 DS to a 48 volt system. I have the 400 amp alltrax controller, 48 volt upgraded solenoid, still running the stock 36 volt motor, and still have the same forward/reverse switch that I believe has been in since the beginning of time. Though the cart has improved greatly in speed (around 22 flat ground VS 17 before) and the uphill climbing ability is much greater I'm just wondering if the original switch could be holding it back any? I've only gotten a few miles in since the conversion, probably around 8 charges and I've ran the battery pack around 80 percent every time as I'm still breaking it in. No noticeable problems with the switch yet. Any thoughts as to whether I should take the step in upgrading, or is it an unneeded upgrade right now?

If the switch gets warm I'd swap it. But regardless u shouldn't see any performance difference.
