'96 48v series with speed gears, but want big tires
So I am buying a cart which has already had speed gears installed but I'd like to put 22-23" tires/wheels on it. I know I'll lose a good bit more torque by doing that, so what is the best upgrade combo to offset the loss? The cart will be used on trails for hunting hogs at night (like to keep it quiet) and for feeding horses around the place. There will be some moderate mud from time to time, but not looking to mud ride. Someone recommended first a controller and cables, any idea of what percentage of torque that will give back? After that maybe a torque motor? Or should I just swap the gears back to stock? I really don't have a clue with buggies, this will be my first. Suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks!
