Re: 2 batteries are discharging fast
yep that's them thanks
boarder3 no i am not a battery salesman , i'm a crippled old man who has read the forum and works on carts in my spare time it is our (the members of this forum) experience that you can't just replace one battery in a pack , this is due to the fact that the new battery will be pulled down to the older batteries wasting the new batteries life ... there are salt tricks out there that work if done right but your "I noticed on the battery when take off cap it looks like sludge at top about the size of a qaurter and it's hard to" statement is our key ,your misspelled words were not the problem the hard sludge is more than likely lead, the quick discharge means that your battery is discharging and is no longer working next time you ask for help please include all information like make of cart , model of cart, volts of cart, and type of batteries (6v,8v,or12v) please try google for better answers |

Re: 2 batteries are discharging fast
OK my skull level is not capable of doing this. I'm probably just gonna try to look for new 12v batteries what I don't get is there is many marine batteries that are like 100.00 why couldn't I use them. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Re: 2 batteries are discharging fast
Don't do it.....If I recall correctly marine batteries can't stand the amp draw. If saving money is your goal. Get the right battery for the application and take care of them. There are folks on here that have stated YEARS of service with proper care. You will be sad/mad when the duckies on marine go to waste.
