Exclamation 1992 club car gas engine slow roll over intermittent start

Hey everyone,

I have a 1992 gas club car and I have an issue. When I press the gas pedal down with the key off the engine rolls over. It didn't do this before but had started a few months back. This isn't the real issue though. My main issue is an intermittent start. With the key on I press the gas pedal down and I engine try's to roll over, almost as if it were on high compression. Sometimes it starts and runs just fine - drive it and all of a sudden you stop for a second and go to start back up and there is goes again - engine maybe turn one stroke then nothing. I just had the starter/generator taken in to get tested and they said there is nothing wrong with it. I'm going to trace my wires and see if I have a bad ground or something the battery is only a year or two old. Please help.

So I went through all my grounds and put spider washers on all my connection to make sure they were all good. Then I used a test light because I couldn't find my multimeter to test my power everywhere. I found some times my solenoid doesn't active when I push the pedal down. I'm guessing the solenoid is bad but I'm going to grab a multimeter from work tomorrow to check my voltage because it does click but no power is goig through, at least not enough to make the light turn on in the test light. I'll most likely pick up a solenoid anyways tomorrow. Doesn't hurt to have an extra on hand anyways. While it's down I figured if do a tune up so I changed the oil and filter, air filter, spark plug, fuel filters and extended my fuel lines for the lift I have because they were prett tight.
