Please I need to identify this motor and year

Ok I have posted stuff regarding the 3 wheeler Ez-Go regarding electrical issues I am dealing with. With that I am now a bit lost at what year this thing is. The data plate on the splash guard on the drivers’ side under the seat is gone. The number I do have for the cart is possibly 70-120224-5, I honestly have no idea.

I am getting ready, procrastinating actually, to get into the motor. The owners’ manual I have does not show the brush replacement or motor break down diagram for the motor this thing has. It is GE model #5BC48JB644A.

I can post pics if someone wants or needs me to. If someone can please either post the correct motor break down and removal/installation instructions for this motor I would greatly appreciate it.

I bought this cart some 5 years ago for my dad. Like so many others have done he bought deep cycle marine batteries for it to save money. Can this be part of the problem as the amperage is different than what is required? IT has ran on these batteries for the past 5 years.
