Altrax NCX300R5
I am running this controller on my 1999 EZGO TXT DCS cart. When I am running on flat ground the cart runs as always. The cart has started to surge while going up a hill and I am hearing a hissing that is coming from the controller. If I ease up a little on the accelerator, the hissing stops and the cart does not surge. The cart has never done this before. Am I experiencing a failing controller? I have checked all connections and wires. Can this controller be rebuilt if it is failing?

Re: Altrax NCX300R5
It sounds like this controller is failing. It is not serviceable.
This was the smallest lightest duty Alltrax offered. Replace with something beefier like the XCT48400 DCS control. |
