Default Electrical problem

I have a Curtis controller
I’m getting power on positive on controller when the solenoid is off
Even when solenoid wire is taken off
Has anyone come across this
Cart won’t work in forward or reverse but everything else works
And how to fix 🤷🏽*♂️

Some more details about your carts year, make, model will help everyone on here help you.

Also details of what lead up to it not working are also appreciated along with what kind of power source is driving this cart (FLA or Lithium, hopes and dreams)

Getting battery voltage on the B+ terminal all the time? Your solenoid is welded. Try giving it a couple taps with a small hammer to try to unstuck it - not a permanent fix.

If I disconnect the solenoid wire there is no power at it
Only at the b+ on controller

That controller has flash codes. Count the flashes on the LED with the key on.

B+ should have power at all times when the key is on. That controller is turned on through a small wire (pin 1), and the solenoid should click as soon as you turn the key sending power to B+. Check for voltage at pin 1, the key switch input, with the key on and off. If it's hot in both positions you may have a welded key switch relay, which is different than the solenoid.

It would be nice to tell us what the actual fix was as it may help others with a similar problem in the future.

Plug in and removed fault
All good now
