Hey Dave
Thanks for the info I will look into that ......yesterday ran it quite a bit & all was well go figure.....I just had brushes put in & the starter/alt cleaned & exhaust rewelded it fell apart in the goose neck it had a nasty weld from previous owner....I appreciate your reply & thanks again......had to give up my bike for health reasons so this is my New Bike LOL.... Hey just a thought on the broken exhaust.... Inspect the motor mounts... And the cradle that it sits in.. They will develop cracksthat lead to broken exhaust stacks. Not related to the hot start issue but could be a problem down the road.

Thanks for the info I will sure keep an eye on that....I appreciate all the info have you ever seen anyone make a homemade exhaust deleting the big old muffler...????...like using a dirt bike silencer or such..?? Thanks JD |
