Default Part numbers, rebuild kits, etc.

I am new and I sure hope I am not beating a dead horse!

In the process of trying to get my 86 running properly I am struggling to find parts numbers and reference material for things like the carb and fuel pump. The original OEM numbers seem to mean nothing when looking for parts on line.

For example, I am looking for the rebuild kit for the pump and the carb and I am also looking for a new pump and carb as well. "Cart Around" has been very helpful pointing me to places on line that sell what I want and specify that the part is for "my cart" and it says it fits pump number 5144 but I can't find what I need to walk into a store locally and tell them what I am looking for.

When I mention it is a Mikuni BV-18 nobody can find anything, even on line there seems to be no reference to a rebuild kit for a BV-18, I have to look for 1986 EZGO at a cart parts on line store.

When I find the fuel pump I want it says it's a 5144 and OEM number is 14151-GI but that has been useless so far it trying to actually go buy one. The local parts places reference everything back to a motorcycle or snowmobile.

Is there any sticky or reference for manufacturers part numbers such as Winderosa?

Am I outsmarting myself again?

Default Re: Part numbers, rebuild kits, etc.

I have a few repair manuals with exploded parts maps and part #'s on my computer, I'm on my phone right now but I'll see if I can't dig them up in the morning.
