Battery Specs

Hi, I’ve had a good search but can’t find the spec of battery needed for a 2004 ds. I have seen the physical size mentioned a lot (group 70) but no the amp hours or other electrical spec

Can one of you fine chaps (and chapesses) point me to the specs needed, I had an old 40ah battery kicking about that I used to get the cart running but it goes flat after a while

Have you checked your battery voltage with the engine running (maintenance mode if necessary) to see if it's charging?
A group 70 has 540CCA which is way enough to start the cart, and basically anything that fits in the battery box will work. Most batteries that size are at least 35AH or greater.
