That first video is similar to what mine was doing...it never jumped into gear like that tho...Mine was sluggish from the start, then slowly revved out and away it would go...I am still waiting parts to arrive .....Mine had oil leaking from the crank seals,it was only visible once all the cowling was removed on the flywheel side.

Compression tested fine. Don’t ask me the numbers because Joe did it and I forgot to get it from him.

Bad compression = FOO You know what.

Griff,
Ya a subtle but important difference. Mine chirps the tires during any change of speed. It’s immediate.

I really trust Don Plowman. He owns the place, makes his stuff, and has been doing it a long time. The kinda guy I like to give my business to.

I suspect I’ll need to adjust the carb and what not after the new clutch is in

Good looking cart!

Before buying anything clutch wise, pull them apart and see if they are serviceable

I can’t possibly do that as it requires intelligence.

When I abandon and remove the oil pump will oil still be pulled to the differential?
Thanks for the thought.

It doesn't pull oil TO the differential, that hose is a vent should the differential become hot and expel oil into the oil tank instead of on the ground.
