94 EZGO 295 eng oiling system
Ho all, new to the forum and have found a wealth of info on here. I am getting ready to rebuild the engine in my 94 EZgo with a 295 engine, and was wondering if the engine has a pressurized oiling system?

It has an oil pump and yes it does maintain pressure. The pump sends oil up through the port in the valve cover that rains on the cam and rockers and then returns it to the case.

So the engine can stand a few performance mods?

Yes, but its expensive for what it is. Might try some of these cam places and see if they can do a regrind on it. The crank and rods will handle all the heads will produce. You don't need rods. The biggest improvements you can do to it will be the cylinder head, whether it be bigger valves or port work.
