Re: Type of oil ?
Do yourself a favor and scrap the oil-injection.They are prone to failure and you can't get parts to repair/replace the pump.Mix your gas 128:1(Ez-Go spec.)This is 1oz./gal.If you run the cart hard, and have the govenor unhooked,Step the mix up to 1-1/2oz. per.gal.I've done this ratio for 4yrs. now,no issues,no smoke. The oil is availiable in most places, like auto-parts,etc...Just make sure it says "2-Cycle-For Use With Pre-Mix".Injection-Oils aren't usually compatible, although their may be some out there that are.Hope this helps.

Re: Type of oil ?
Thanks so much , that's what I thought. But so many of manuals said SAE 30.The governor is already unhooked, came to me that way.it does smoke so maybe I'll try the increased ratio. After reading the other posts , thinking that bypassing injection pump may be way to go. Thanks again.

Re: Type of oil ?
what ever way you decide to go with or without the injection pump, run full synthetic amsoil in your cart! either interceptor or dominator will work great, increase power and much less smoke..... used it in my 1990 tex with no gov.&kids ran it hard!!!
