86 ez go 2 stroke i got spark and gas no fire?

Ya it had some junk in it as well as gas I cleaned it good and still nothing

Ya it had gas in it. It was a little dirty but I cleaned it really good. So even though its only at 101 it should still run? Could it be a ground problem?

If your plug was wet then you got gas. If your plug is not wet and your sure your getting gas to the carb. you probably need to adjust your float. I would not think it was a ground since you said that you had a good hot spark. Seat your mixture screw and turn it our 1 1/2 turns. Honestly if everything seemed good and you adjust your mixture and it still wont kick off, I would give her a little squirt of starter fluid and see if she hits.

I am getting ready to rebuild an 88 ezgo that had a 110psi in foward and it still had good power but my crank bearings were a little loose and since I have it out for repaint I might as well get it all done in one shot.

It just decided it wanted to run but now it has like no power

The motor seems to tac up alright it just barley moves how do I know if my clutch is working right?

Drop the float-bowl off the carb,remove and clean the Main-Jet with a torch-tip cleaner.This will cause Hard/No-Start.The wonderful gas that they are selling us has a 3month life-span before it turns to glue,and clogs up everything.If you jack up the cart on stands,Leave the belt on(running without it can damage the clutch).Start the cart,slowly give it more gas,and watch the engine-clutch(Primary or Drive-Clutch)It should start to close-up gradually.Then the Axle-Clutch(Secondary or Driven-Clutch)should start to open.From the sound of things,cleaning the carb will help.Also make sure your fuel/oil is mixed properly(1oz/gal.).Hope this helps.

So I mix the gas? I thought it was oil injected? Its got the oil tank with lines going to the motor what is that there for than?

it sounds like you have the pump. but is it working? I do not have one of those. Its long gone. I mix the oil and gas
