Re: LED Backup lights
Ok,
This is the best it's gonna get until I can get some more time for myself......... Sorry it took so long Dave. Lights off, Lights on, The strip runs the entire width of the back bumper. I got them at Advanced Auto. They come with a 3M adhesive strip on the back that I have never had any problems with. |

Re: LED Backup lights
I see you have a trailer hitch. How did you brace the "bumper" to keep it from twisting down when you put weight on the ball?

Re: LED Backup lights
I put a hitch on mine just to move the trailers around the yard. But my son wants to use the cart to hook onto the trailer and load the John Deere garden tractor. But I am nervous that the bouncing will snap the back frame.
Mark Love the backup lights :) |

Re: LED Backup lights
I pull my boat around the property with it, no problem. My boat is a 20 foot cuddy cabin on a single axel trailer, about 33-3400 lbs with just short of 350 lbs of tounge weight.

Re: LED Backup lights
The frame on mine needs something to brace the frame. Maybe something like what they do for rear seats.

Re: LED Backup lights
I had some one pass out under my truck. It was raining and that was the "best" shelter he could "manage" :) Lucky for him I tripped on his foot sticking out.
I'll get them lights mounted tomorrow. Mark |
