I cant turn it 1.5 turns. It is a little black plastic piece with a directional arrow on it? I can only turn it about 180 degrees.
I work the night shift and cant make it home at 2am.

whats the problem hesitates right off idle? That little black plastic keeper has been there for a reason (its never out of adjustment) If the cart dosnt run smooth off idle its probably the idle jet is plugged up. That is under the plug that faces up next to the idle adjusting screw. You can pull the black plastic piece off the adjuster if you wish or just try pulling it up till it clears the stop. And the earth is doomed at some time in the future, wont have anything to do with us though One good size rock from space

The Black Plastic piece is the Detonator!!!If you remove it the Tree-Huggers will come running from all directions, they work side by side with the Matress-Police(Hope you haven't removed those tags!!!)Seriously though, the black cap is to keep it within a range approved by the gov't for emissions.Pop it off,and adjust as needed.

Some good answers. LOL
The pilot screw is on the top of the carb, closest to the cylinder head. Lightly seat the screw, and turn it out 1 - 1/2 turns.

The idle stop screw is on the driver's side of the carb, and goes through the carb body then touches the throttle lever. Back it all the way out(up), then make sure there is a little slack in the long linkage rod on the side of the engine. Then turn the idle stop screw down just until it touches the throttle lever.

Ok im in the same, and want to make sure ive got everything set right.

On top of the Carb i see "3" screws.

1. The one closest to the cylinders..the pilot screw with the black plastic cover.

2, then theres the copper looking circular screw? any adjustments to that?

3. then the small on that sits on top of the throttle..or the idle stop screw..that seems pretty simple to adjust.

I was told that this directional piece needs to point straight toward front of cart. Is this not correct? That's where mine is pointed on my carb.
