Hey Farley I did the check you ask and it fired on both sides of the coil. If I plugged it into one side it fired one plug then I unhooked that plug and the other side would also fire. Sounds like a bad coil. But just for giggles did you recheck the timing and the valve gap?

Sorry for the late response on this post, but I just had a new ACL put in and recovery has been a little rougher than I thought it would be. Docs Bonecracker, thanks so much for doing that test for me. That helped me more than you know. I did to a check on the coil with my volt meter and it showed to be in specs but I will replace it anyways. I just got a used Ignitor to put on and eliminate that. The timing is right on and I have checked the valves for proper adjustment like 10 times. I'm hoping the coil is the solution. Thanks again for doing that test for me.
