Now, that is nice!!! I'm a big tailgating fan myself, and I'm going to have to steal your idea, and call it my own. LOL...
Seriously... DO you have any more pictures of the build you can share??? |

Nice chuck wagon!
Just a suggestion check the grease in the bearings of the harbor freight trailer, they have shipped some dry. |

Re: Pulling. Will this work?
Thanks for the compliments. Yes the bearings were pretty much dry. Got'em packed. I don't really have any more build pics. I spent a couple months looking for one that was short enough and light enough but couldn't find what I was looking for so I decided to try build it myself. Wasn't hard at all. My welding skills got better and better as I went along but I'm still way better with the grinder LOL. Thank goodness grinding/cutoff wheels are cheap!!

How's the fit on your 12' trailer? Looks long, but I agree that's a cool build!

Re: Pulling. Will this work?
It's actually a 16' trailer and there is about two foot behind the tire. The pit itself is actually flush with the end of the trailer. It doesn't leave much room for a gate which is going to be the next project because backing it down the ramps is the tricky part.

Re: Pulling. Will this work?
I occasionally haul my jet ski on my 18 ft with my workhorse and what I started doing was backing the rig on the trailer, disconnecting the ski and strapping it down, driving off then putting the cart back on with the nose over the tongue of the ski trailer. Works for me..
