So, I bought a cart w a bad motor, for about 3K I get 3x the HP and torque with a warrantee, and will last without stressing out the anemic stock motor? Sounds like a good idea! One thing I have learned playing with muscle cars, motorcycles and boats, when you increase the power of the engine you will soon find the weak link. What is the next item I will replace? Do they make a 9" for a CC?

i have been a member of bgw since 2011, so i was not quick to get the motor, i waited, did my homework.

and i could have gotten the motor cheaper, but i had to have all the bells and whistles.......
this is very similar to the way I think / do things. In a smaller scale but still pricey in its class . when my stock 3.5 hp GE motor started to poop out I knew I was needing a motor. I looked and read everything I could find and settled with plum quick. I could have very easily sent my motor out for a bandit upgrade but spent another 500.00 for a Rattlesnake II . same with the controller I could have gone with a altrax 500 amp(which would have been fine ) but got a GE 700 amp instead. reasons to my earlier comment go big or don't go at all. Get what you truly want so your not buying twice !!! and homework is key .
