Default Axle swap, where to begin?

ok guy's

as you'll know, i put the bb motor in my cart.
and was looking for a cc axle.
well it turns out lost husker had 1 to sell me, so i bought it....
last night and a few beers in, i slid the axle husker sold me,up next to the axle i have.
then all kinds of questions, came into play......
do i have to turn my motor around,to make work with the clutch being on the other side??
can you swap axle tubes from one side to the other??

will post pics, when i get off work........

All CC clutches (drive and driven) are/should be on the passenger side of the cart!!

Turn the axle around!

Yeah, your making sense, BUT... will your driven clutch line up with your drive clutch?
That's really all you need to be concerned about.
(that and the leaf spring perches... but those should be o.k.)

Give Tom a call and see if the two (pre-96 and post 97) BB engine mounting plates are the same?
In reality, The two axles were designed differently for basically the same cart frame, so, I don't know what else to tell you!

Just thought of something... the pre and post engine pans may be a different layout,
You said you got an engine pan with the axle, right? (is it tube? or stamped?)
If it's tube... you may have to use that one!

IN SWAPping a 92 into a 99 i had to swap the cradle also due to the engine cradle having nothing to attach the cradle to too support it on the other side of that though you will have to fab up some shock mounts , this is my next v twin project
