I just purchased a 2008 EZGO ST Sport II. It has the 350 that he's describing and I'm really enjoying it. It has 20" tires and with just a governor adjustment I increased 8mph. BrewCityMusic has helped me make adjustments to my cart. He knows his stuff for sure.

I just rebuilt my 350 and its running like a champ. I have the shorter belt and the 28 deg clutch and it pulls through anything as long as the belt stays dry. Before the rebuild I had the governor tight and it ran around 25 with 25" tires. But I am always in the woods and prefer low end power and torque so I put it back to near stock as far as the gov is concerned. Now if I could just get the SG working again I will be happy lol

Can someone post pic of where clutch is stamped with number, 28 or 36? It's been me ruined twice in this post so seeking clarification, not trying to high jack post.

Look at the back (transmission) side of your driven clutch, the Helix is the round part that the shaft goes through - it's going to be a bit tricky as it's close to the trans (a dental or pocket mirror will help here) but it's stamped on the flat part, right up against the transmission.

Cool !!! NOW all You need to do is set that thing up with a slightly shorter drive belt and it'll be a real torque machine

I know this is an older thread but I will post my results for current / future readers.
2015 EZ-GO Express with 22-11.00-10 tires
I have my governor set at 28 mph right now. I could get more but I am happy with 28. I am thinking about selling my 99 TXT because I just don't drive it much anymore.

Sold my L4 and got an S4 towards the end of last year. Top end that I have seen so far is 29.4 mph with an average of mid 28 mph at top speed.
