Well, that isn't it. I took the crank case hose off and there is plenty of pulse but for some reason pump isn't working at first start up and it's a brand new pump

Hi - I just bought a G9 gas cart and I have the exact same scenario happening. Here are the details.
*Cart will run fine all day long
*Let sit for a few days and the cart will not start (Battery fine, cart turns over)
*Pull the fuel line to the carb and it is bone dry. Crank the engine and no fuel comes out of the fuel line
*Inspect the Fuel Pump - it is bone dry
*Reprime the pump, cart runs fine all day
*Let the cart sit for a few days. The process starts all over.
*As a comparison My neighbor has a G9 and will let it sit for a year (only uses it on 4th of july week)and it doesn't lose prime.

The question is what would be is causing the fuel to drain out of the fuel line and fuel pump?

FYI - My probably was eventually cleared up service tech by removing and cleaning carb and replacing the original plastic fuel pump with a metal body fuel pump.

Thanks.
Disassembled the Fuel pump over the weekend (Has the Round metal type) and did not look great on the inside, but I did not see any rips or tears on the diaphragm. Rebuild kit came in today and I will redo the fuel pump along with cleaning the carb tonight to see if that has any effect. I have read where adding a marine in-line bulb prime can help as well. Has anyone tried that on a G2/G9?
