My 1995 club cart
So I have a 1995 club cart d's it has a new battery new solenoid ignition coil and new igniter. I got the thing to run but it stop after 20 min or so I notice the generator was getting really hot so I checked that the bushings are fine but I was just wondering if that generator is supposed to get real hot. So any information would be helpful thanks

You need to find out what's element of your air/fuel/spark is missing when it quits running. When you try and start it again (and it won't start) do you smell fuel? Does it seem like it's flooding out?

Re: My 1995 club cart
check your voltage when its running. make sure it's not way high. If it's running 17 or something your regulator is not working right. should be 14.5 or so max with motor at speed. High voltage could be causing electronic issues and when you let it cool back down it's ok again until it gets over heated. The high voltage could cause it to heat.
