Pic didn't work. The cause of the noise in "neutral" is because there is no official neutral, just a fine balance between forward & reverse. Not a problem.

whats also weird is that everything i look up on the internet shows a different kind of spacer. would i buy one like this & get rid of that snap ring?

Are you still on here sho305 ?

Do not use the one for the snap ring. Please do away with the snap ring. The last picture you posted is the spacer you want. You can get a bushing for your sliding sheave but I would recommend just replacing it.

Get the other style spacer. And I would bet the bushing hole is too "wallered out" for just a new bushing.

thanks guys. i'm ordering all the new pieces today. does anybody know if there's a difference between these parts that say g2-g9 through 92 & g9-g22 93 & up?
the only difference i can see is that the ramp shoe color are white in the earlier ones & black on the later model ones..?
All serial numbers were removed on my cart when i bought it, all i know is it's a G9.

Buy the later style spring seat, or reuse the later style one you have now. Newer one is compatible & better.
