2009 rxv rear axel , whining ?
The rear axel on my cart makes a whining noise , the noise increases with the speed , normal ? Bad barring? The cart dealer said all was good with the cart up on delivery he drove it around the whining sound was present at that time .

Could be input shaft or bearings, or worse. Has high speed gears? How fast does it go?

That's what I'm afraid to hear , bearings , just took it down the road the whining is much less going down hill , the dealer set it for medium speed 14 mph via gps

I've always considered my cart to have a whirring sound ... my kids whine... I like wine... lol... describing sounds can be such a pain
my 2010 has always had a distinctive whir (or whine) sound dependent on speed. Always, whether right or not, considered it to be the RXV. might be time for a youtube video |

If I were in Y'all's boat, I would do both input shaft bearings to start with, because that is the cheapest place to start, a common noise maker on rxv, and can be done fairly easy with the axle still in the cart. (Except for that pesky 4-pass kit in the way).

Just got off the phone with the cart dealer , I'm going to be getting it checked out Monday, will be covered by warranty

I just received a phone call from my cart dealer, according to him my cart is just fine the 09 rxv are known for being noisy, some more so than others , he said when he had a ez go tech turn up the speed the tech said all was fine sounds & drives normal, thoughts ?
