Ok, so I have a new carb. Question is, do I just put it on and go or is there an adjustment to it that needs to be made. BTW, I obviously know very little about gas motors.

Ok, got a new card and put it on and runs like it's supposed to. Only problem is at start off, you have to find just the right place on the throttle to get her going. Not sure what's up with that but runs so much better, I'm not gonna complain. Thanks for input

Did you clean the new carb before installing? Mess with the idle mixture screw and see if that helps starting
